Nurse Practitioners Wanted
This is a contract based opportunity.
Administer confidential STI consults and counseling.
Offer referrals for health care, including updating and managing list of referrals.
Must be able to work with diverse populations.
Keep up-to-date with the issues related to the target population, including but not limited to current literature, treatment options and other available resources
This position has no direct reports.
While performing the duties of this position, the nurse practitioner will be in contact with patient clients virtually and remotely. Our nurse practitioners will be required to have ability to utilize technology to perform duties, this includes but is not limited to providing diagnosis and prescribing the appropriate treatment to clients, educating clients on preventative measures, and engaging clients in a manner that is empathetic and supportive. Must be able to work autonomously and efficiently but maintain a close relationship with other team members.
Minimum 1-2 years working as Nurse Practitioner.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Service: Capable of providing excellent service in a friendly and approachable demeanor, resolving client concerns, and understanding quality client service tenets.
Age and Cultural Specific Care: Able to adjust treatment, instruction, and education to meet the patient’s age and cultural background.
Verbal Communication: Capable of interacting with, and relating to, people of varying backgrounds, relaying information clearly and succinctly, applying active listening, empathy, and confidentiality.
Decision Making: Analyzing information provided by client and evaluating viable treatment options to provide the best solution and resolve client concerns.
Computer Proficiency: Able to learn and become proficient in required software as well as have basic knowledge of Microsoft applications, i.e. Word, Excel, and demonstrate keyboarding speed and accuracy, minimum 30 wpm.
